The village of Key Biscayne is a good destination if you want to spend a relaxing holiday, far from the noise and the confusion of a big city.

Anyway before visiting the Key Biscayne beach, if you are into tennis, you would remember that Key Biscayne is one ( or at least it was) of part of the Sony Ericsson Open tennis tournament, whose stadium is located in the Crandon Park Tennis Center.

This is the owner of the 13,300 seat stadium court: a gecko! 🙂

If you turn the head from the stadium towards Miami, you can see the “Downtown´s landscape”.

After this short visit to the Crandon Park, now we decided to stop for a while and relax on the beach.

The Key Biscayne beach is absolutely wonderful: few people, the blue Atlantic Ocean shores, warm temperature and stunning view.

Used to the European beaches, where you can easily access to the sea, we had to look for a public access. It was easier than imagined, as the public access was right in front of the Crandon Park parking place.

You pay 5$ and you can get to the “real” Crandon Park and then to the beach.

Coconut palm-trees, peacocks, seagulls, pelicans and cormorants populate the park

A nice story is related to this coconut: I tried to open it but I got it after having thrown it against the palm-tree trunk several times.

Thanks to all my efforts to see what there was inside, the one that took advantage of this situation was this seagull. Have a good lunch! 🙂 At least I was useful to someone else lol! 🙂

After my attempt to discover what was inside the coconut and the seagull’s lunch, it’s time to show you the fantastic Key Biscayne beach, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. What a great place and what a warm water temperature…

La Isla de Key biscayne es muy bonita, pero sus playas se llenan de visitantes todos los veranos, es un sitio lindo pero muy popular, nada para descansar
